Summer Camp – Camp Hickory

Camp Hickory offers a fun, safe, and engaging summer experience where kids build friendships, confidence, and lifelong memories.

Locations

Camp Hickory is offered at all four YMCA locations:

^{North Hanover, South Hanover, Littlestown, and Gettysburg.}
Drop-off and pick-up must occur at the registered camp location.

Registration Eligibility

Camp registration is based on the child’s grade level for the 2025–2026 school year.

Pricing & Payment

• $30 deposit per week due at the time of registration

• Remaining balance is drafted one week prior to each registered camp week

• Camp fees cover all camp hours

Weekly Rates

• Full-Time:

  • YMCA Member: $200

  • Non-Member: $240

Register Early. Save on Camp

10% off when you register in January–February
5% off when you register in April
Youth or family membership required at the time of registration and must be maintained for the duration of camp.

Camp Hours

• Drop-off: begins at 6:30 AM

• Camp programming: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Pick-up: by 6:00 PM

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program

Eligible for students entering 7th or 8th grade

The CIT program is a limited-enrollment leadership opportunity and requires Camp Director approval. All of the following must be completed:

1. Two email references submitted directly by teachers (non-family members) from their official school email accounts to the address listed below

2. Completed and signed CIT registration packet (parent/guardian and participant)

3. In-person interview with the Camp Director

4. Final approval by the Camp Director after all requirements are met
