Swim - Gettysburg - Private and Semi-Private Swimming Lessons
We are currently not accepting new students for private or semi-private lessons.
Our goal is to meet the needs of all participants by offering private and semi-private swimming lessons. Anyone age three or older with any level of swimming ability is welcome!
To ensure your best experience, please familiarize yourself with the following information regarding our policies.
1. Lessons are sold in packages of six, and all fees must be prepaid.
a. Private lessons are scheduled for one student at a time.
b. Semi-private lessons are scheduled for two students of similar ability.
2. Each lesson is 30 minutes in length.
3. Lessons are scheduled between the instructor and student(s) at mutually agreed-upon times.
4. All lesson packages must be used within six months from the time of purchase.
5. If you need to reschedule a lesson, notify the instructor AND the YMCA Aquatic Director at least 24 hours before the lesson. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the missed lesson.
Private Lessons: Member: $200 Non-Member: $230
Semi-Private Lessons: Member: $260 Non-Member: $320

Private Swimming Lessons
If the group lesson schedule doesn’t fit yours, or you are looking for more individualized instruction, private lessons are the way to go! Private lessons are available in packages of six and are scheduled with an instructor at a mutually agreed upon time. The lessons are 30 minutes long and allow you or your child to progress at your own pace.
Lessons must always be scheduled when the pool is not running other programs.
Private lessons are arranged for one student with an instructor.

Semi-Private Swimming Lessons
If the group lesson schedule doesn’t fit yours, or you’re looking for more individualized instruction, semi-private lessons are the way to go! Semi-private lessons are available in packages of six and are scheduled with an instructor at a mutually agreed-upon time and date. The lessons are 30 minutes long, and participants can progress at their own pace.
You must have two participants to enroll; we do not pair children for these lessons. Both children must have the same swimming ability. The total cost applies to both participants; you will not be charged the rate below twice.
Lessons must always be scheduled when the pool is not running other programs.
Semi-Private Lessons
Member: $260
Non-member: $320
