The American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguarding Program combines online learning and in-person in-water training, first aid, CPR, and AED training. This course trains lifeguards to act quickly and confidently in emergencies in and out of the water.

Bundle One is included in this course and certifies the participant in Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Asthma Inhaler Training, and Epinephrine Auto-Injector. The rescue breathing mask is also included in the cost of this course.

Requirements (NO Refunds Available after Enrollment)

• Participants must be 15 years old by the final day of the course.
• Participants must complete the online course materials before the first in-person session.
• Swim 150 meters continuously using freestyle or breaststroke, demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing, straight into treading water for 2 minutes using only the legs, followed by an immediate 50-meter swim.
• Swim 15 meters, retrieve a 10-pound object from a depth of 7 feet, and swim, using only the legs, with the object to the starting point within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
• Successful candidates must be present for all class meetings.
• Must receive an 80% on multiple choice exam.
• All participants must exhibit professionalism at all times during the course.

Saturday March 7:            8:00 am – 6:00 (breaks)

Sunday March 8:              8:00 am – 6:00 (breaks)

Monday March 9:              4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD RECERTIFICATION

This recertification course is designed for currently certified lifeguards to refresh and renew their ARC Lifeguarding certification.

Participants will review essential rescue skills, surveillance and prevention strategies, First Aid, CPR/AED, and emergency action procedures through hands-on practice and scenerio-based training.

Successful completion results in renewed certification, pending skills and written assessment requirements. Renewed Certifications are valid  for two (2) years.

You can only recertify if your current certification is still valid or has expired by no more than 30 days.
